Problems with Philips Hue and Ikea bulbs and xiaomi gateway

I have a Philips Hue Bridge, 2 Philips Hue Bulbs and 17 Ikea Tradfri Bulbs.

I have just setup a xiaomi gateway and button to control a bedside lamp.

Since installing the xiaomi gateway I’ve had problems all the bulbs losing connection to the Hue hub at random. I can see them dropping off and reconnecting in the OpenHAB log file. It even started to affect my Alexa routines as certain bulbs couldn’t be controlled at certain times.

I check the channels and the xiaomi gateway is on 11 and my Hue hub is on 20.

I have since powered down the xiaomi gateway and my bulbs have become more stable, some are still dropping off but are back by the next poll 30 seconds later. I’m assuming that this could have been happening since they were installed but now I have OpenHAB I am able to see when they drop connection briefly.

I really need to be able to use my xiaomi buttons so I am after some advice on my best course of action.

I am assuming that the best option would be to have a single Zigbee bridge/hub that can talk to everything. I can see that there is Zigbee binding for OpenHAB and I have also found the zigbee2mqtt page.

Any advise on the best solutions is welcome.

Thanks.
