For 2 days now I have been trying to do a new build, downloaded both 64 bit and 32 images, loaded them on my PIs with web access success (:8080) except I cannot open the log (:9001). I reloaded my backup image, and I can access the log. I noticed a while back there was an issue with the image with the same problem that needed to be fixed, are we having this issue again? Thanks in advance!!

Did you install frontail via openhabian-config?
not that many complaints - so I would conclude there is no issue.
What is the output of:
sudo systemctl status frontail.service
and
sudo journalctl -u frontail
