got my echo dot last weekend.
It was very easy and straight forward to get it running with the hue-emulation binding, great stuff.
I only have problems to get alexa to recognize some of my items.
For instance I want alexa to start an item named “VDR”.
But no matter if I write it “VDR”, “Vau Deh Erh” or “V. D. R.”, alexa refuses to recognize the item if I command her to start it.
Also the item “Radio” is problematic, probably because alexa knows the term “radio” herself for webradio.
Other items like “Licht” or “Standleuchte” are recognized perfectly.
So, are there any recommendations for the naming of items to be recognized from alexa?
