Reinstallation each time i reboot my raspberry 4

Hello!

First of all, i am already familiar with Openhab/Linux.

Now i bought a Raspberry 4 and wanted to install the current version of Openhab on it. The following was done:

  • Download Image (openhabian-pi-raspbian-201908050414-gitca0976f-crc6a66b5a1.img.xz)
  • Image was written with Etcher on Linux/Ubuntu

The initial installation works fine, but if i restart the Raspberry after a successful installation, the complete installation is done again (every time).

Have you had the same experience? What am I doing wrong?

I would be happy about constructive solutions!

Thanks in advance,
Christoph

Need to double check your first boot .log and confirm the install did succeed. I have misread the log before and been fooled.

If it did succeed then there is a file you can manually delete to keep.the first boot script from running. I dont remember where the file is though.

I have used the install on a pi 4 so i suspect something failed.

Check out the preliminary debug guide.

I’m having the same occurance.
Since the last OH Update from 2.4 to 2.5.10 messed up with my Jython triggers I’ve decided to update to the Raspberry 4. I’m able to start/stop etc. the Openhab daemon and everythings working, even the http://openhab:9001/ logviewer. I installed the last stable version of Openhab(ian) via openhabian-config. Did the same thing for the Java version.
But I can’t access Openhab:8080 to access my sitemaps or the PaperUI.
Any Help here?
Thanks in advantage …
