Remote raspberry network connection monitoring with Openhab

I have a remote RaspberryPi 4 that for some reason loses network connection in the mornings, but comes back on line in the afteroon. I would like to e.g. send ping or nc packets every 10 minutes from or to the Raspberry from OpenHAB and draw a graph of the success or failure to find out when exactly the network connection is lost. Is there a ready script for something like this for OH?

you can use the network binding to regularly ping devices.

You can see that the person or better the person’s phone was absent during the day.
