I’ve bought an ethernet 8 channel relay from ali and would like to control garage doors with it.
But I want to be able to control it from physical remote as well as from the phone running openHab.
What kind of a remote can I use? Z-Wave or there are anything cheaper?

If you have to original garage remote you can just wire the relay to the button and use the original remote.
If not, honestly all of the potential solutions I’ve found are either way too expensive or ineffective.
I’ve spent some time on this problem as my garage door opener remotes do not work. At this point I’m just going to replace the entire opener and use its remotes as the physical remote.
