So I swapped over to the new modbus2 binding by using PaperUI I did remove all the old modbus.cfg files but it still gives me this error in the log. So how can I properly remove modbus1 binding, is there a jar file laying around somewhere?
2019-07-20 15:49:18.143 [ERROR] [core.karaf.internal.FeatureInstaller] - Failed installing 'openhab-binding-modbus1'
Is the jar in your addons folder? IF so, stop OH, remove it ( I would just move it aside so you can revert) and look here.
How does one remove a manually installed “unsupported” binding?
I added the DSC 1.9 jar to /usr/share/openhab2/addons per documentation. I did my testing and wanted to disable the plugin while doing other testing so I removed the jar files and the openhab.cfg from services. OH still loads the binding on launch. I rebooted my machine. Same thing.
It must cache the binding someplace. I can’t find the cache or any post related to this.
