Right after I configured JDBC logging, I noticed a flurry of log entries followed by a log absence of expected entries. A typical log entry was:

My Mac was going to sleep, not a good idea for a control system.
On recent Mac systems go to Settings/Displays and select Advanced. Under “Energy”, check the box, “Prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off.
