I’m very new to Openhab and tend to use it for my upcoming KNX installation. Now I’m wondering, whether something like “components” exist, that are maybe provided by the community, which take care of standard usecases like managing blinds/rollershutters depending on the current wheather/sun situation. I know there exist bindings (to connect the actual hardware) and rules (which contain the logic to drive the automation). But is there some kind of library where commonly used rules or similar are published that maybe only need some basic configuration parameters and then work out of the box? This would avoid having to re-invent the wheel for every new Openhab user, creating their own custom brewed rules based on snippets copied from somwhere :).
Does something like this exist in the Openhab ecosystem?
