Hi all,
I’m thinking about replacing my manual roller shutter belt winders with electric ones, as this is much cheaper than upgrading the whole roller shutter with a motor.
I was thinking about something like those: https://www.rademacher.de/en/roller-shutters/belt-winders/
Does anybody have any experience in connecting these winders with openHAB? Is this even possible?

I don’t have this belt-winders.
But it is “possible” to connect them to OpenHAB…
But the Experience (at this time) is not good I think …
Devices from the german Company Rademacher use a proprietary protocol called DuoFern.
Unfortunatelly there is no openhab binding yet.
