Hi
When I install influx and grafana OpenHab gets very slow, ‘top’ command places influx with 100% cpu, and the system is unresponsive.
Any others with this issue?

Well not sure if that’s exactly your issue but a RPi just has 1G of RAM most of which is required by OH’s Java process already.
So in short it’s not a good idea to run InfluxDB in parallel to OH on that HW as you end up with a lot of paging activity (unless you’re well aware of how to optimize all of this, but that’s somewhat out of scope for this forum).
