Using OH2 it is possible to have/use a RRD4J database without Setting the specifics in a rrd4j.cfg file. What are the Defaults used in this case.
I would think something like:
<Default>.def= ?, ?. U,U,60
<Default>.Archive=AVERAGE,?,1,?
