Rule triggered with a state of a group problem -

i have am item which is linked to a shelly binding on/off channel and a rule sending ON to this channel on given conditions:

The problem is when the rules is enabled it seems to execute the ON command every 30 seconds or so but the item gLights is not changing at all during this time.

not sure why it is acting so strange.

But you didn’t trigger the rule when gLights changes. You triggered the rule when gLights is updated. I bet the shelly reports the current state of the device to OH every 30 seconds which causes the Group’s state to update too.

An update does not necessarily mean a change.

wrong wording and of course you are as always right and helpful :wink: changed to type: core.ItemStateChangeTrigger = ON and it will work right now.

The polish translation of webgui for rules and trigger names is a bit mesy
