Dear all,
i updated to Openhab 4.3.5 and also replaced my old internet router by a Fritzbox 7690.
After doing this my Samsung TV Thing stays offline (Server error). Before this i used the on / off item to set my living room lights when the tv is on / off.
I do have a ~2020 Samsung smart tv. In my Fritzbox UI i can see the “TIZEN” device is connected to wifi. I can also see this IP in the samsung tv menu setting. But its written in the Fritzbox UI that the device is not reachable from the internet, i do have to “open” a port.
In my old thing setting (which worked before) i do have the ip, port 8001 and a MAC address.
Dont know if i set this port and MAC address manual or if it got auto detected.
I also tried the Samsung TV Beta Binding, but also this stays offline.
Also my tv is not reachable in the Samsung phone App anymore.
Do i have to open a port in my router? If yes, which port? …
Maybe someone can help
Thank you!

I seriously doubt you need to open a port to expose your TV to the internet. That seems like a really bad idea. The port is probably standard unless you’ve changed it in the TV’s settings. the MAC address should be the same. That’s a hardware identifier.
I would have expected the IP address to have changed though unless you took some action to make sure it was assigned the same IP address on the new Fritzbox.
Beyond that, I don’t use this binding nor device so I can only provide general advice.
Thank you for your answer
I set the ip address of the device to the same static ip like before. Also checked in the tv settings. Port i didnt change in the setting.
Maybe try to delete and recreate your thing.
maybe you have to re-authenticate on the TV.
greets
This worked, thank you
