I am trying to receive button press events from my remote but the “keyCode” is not sent to openhab.
My experience with the samsungtv-binding on openHAB1 is, that there is no response from samsungtv to openHAB.
I would be interested, to know, if this has changed in openHAB2.
I have tagged it OH2, so this behavior is on OH2
I tried and what I’ve figured out is:
I also don’t receive a update of item KeyCode in openHAB when I press a button on the tv’s remote.
But when I turn on my TV and also when I change settings by tv’s remote,
the only items state that are updated in openHAB are:
- Volume
- Mute
- Power
- Brightness
- Contrast
- Sharpness
