I’ve had to try and set this up because myopenhab.org is just too slow , Problem is its a nightmare.
This dual domain nonsense is a head f, it seems that the android app is hard coded for myopenhab.org, so when you setup the sub domain you get a login inside a login which fails in the app
Does anyone have this self hosted and working with just a single domain name? I’ve spent the best part of 10hrs trying and cannot get it to work for love or money.

I don’ know if i got you right, but: You can set the URL to any openhab cloud in the android app when editing the settings of your server (can’t check the exact name right now, should be something like “Remoteaccess”). And you can set the URL to your openhab cloud in the advanced settings of the openhab cloud addon itself… so this should what you need to do?
Didnt know you could do that! But thats what I’ve done and its working. Wish the doco was a bit friendlier. Lucky Claude Code to the rescue

You must have another problem somewhere. I use OpenHAB remotely practically every day, my wife too, both our mobiles are on VPN 24 hours a day, and the app is quite responsive and reliable.
Where do you live? Siberia?
