Ser2net crashes when used with openhab2

Im running open hab 2.4.0 release build on debian buster 10 on an intel atom. It communicates with an rfxcom rfxtrx433e (USB) on a rpi 2b rasbian 10 (buster) light with ser2net.

Usually after several days (sometimes after a few hours) ser2net crashes with the following message. Any idea what to do? My only recovery for now includes restarting the rpi and changing the port of the openhab-thing for rfx to an invalid value and then back again

Since it’s ser2net that is crashing instead of openHAB you might have better luck asking on a more ser2net related forum. There are a few people on this forum who use it and they might see this and be able to help, but ultimately it’s not an openHAB problem so you will reach a wider audience of people who can help on another forum.
