Set openHAB locale without changing the system locale

Hey guys,
is there a way to set the locale of openHAB without changing the system locale - maybe by changing the start script?

I wan’t to use the web frontend with de_DE and the system with en_US (especially console while using user “openhab”). I don’t like the console translated to german :wink:

It would be better if the web frontend would use the client locale instead of the server locale. But I guess this is a feature request…

Under PaperUI Configuration System there is a section beat the bottom where you can set a bunch of localization parameters. I don’t know what impact they have but you can try setting them there.

Thank you for your reply but this parameters have no effect to the language of the web frontend.
