Set up multiple "Things" for KNX binding (to aid periodic pinging/status)

Hi,

I am successfully using the KNX2 binding with great success. However, to make potential debugging easier in the future, it would be very nice to do the following:

  • Add multiple “Things” with their addresses
  • Extract the device status (if online/offline) to an item

While I can probably figure out the no. 2, how can one add multiple Things to the config? I know they are not important to the functionality at all but I quite like the idea of having all my KNX hardware periodically pinged.
