There are two openhab Alexa skills to choose from. One is the official openhab Alexa Skill published by openhab foundation that uses myopenhab.org to access devices. The other is called Smart Home Connect (openhab) published by AASH labs that uses myopenhab.eff.org.in to access devices. What is the difference and which one should be used? Why does myopenhab.eff.org.in exists? Is this cloud instance safe to point my OH2 instance and mobile App to?
Smart Home Connect was created at a time when the official skill was not available in India. There is no longer a need to use that one.
Smart Home Connect skill will only be available until 15th January 2018, since the official skill is available for India. All the users are requested to migrate to official skill.
