I have connected a Shelly Button to my openHAB 3.2.0 via MQTT and one of the MQTT topics (shellies/shellybutton1-98CDAC2DB02C/input_event/0) has the value {"event":"SS","event_cnt":42}.
The JSONPATH should be easy enough using JSONPATH:$.event in the channel’s advanced settings but the value does not change:
Am I missing anything here?
Since the whole steing is returned yourused trsnformation pattern might have a problem. Please post the whole code-section of the thing.
Or … if this is the very first json path you use in openHAB, did you install the addon for Jsonpath transformations?
