The SleepIQ bed thing requires the bed ID, but I can’t figure out where to find it.
Looking through the vendor app, all I find is the bed’s MAC. I’ve tried that both with and without colons, in both upper and lower case, and I am always told “No bed found with ID …”. Then I tried the bed’s literal name (e.g. “Main Bedroom”). Still no luck.
The bed is on-line and works with the app. What am I missing?
Just for clarification, have you created the SleepIQ Bridge thing?

If that is online, then your bed should appear in your inbox with a scan. Layout the steps you have taken, makes it easier for others to help.
Thank you for the response. When I added the Add-On, two things were created: the SleepIQ Cloud thing, and a Dual Chamber Bed thing. I configured the Cloud thing successfully, and it came on-line normally. I was having difficulty configuring the Dual Chamber Bed thing, which is what prompted the question.
With the help of your response, I deleted extraneous the Dual Chamber Bed thing, clicked “+” on the Things page, selected the SleepIQ Cloud binding, ran a scan, and a new dual chamber bed thing was discovered with my bed already named and the Bed ID assigned.
Looks like I’m good to go. Thank you for the help.
