The current version of the download from “distribution-1.8.2-addons.zip” does not contain the binding for smarthomatic? Or am I blind???
Where do I get the latest binary version for download?

Search for “cloudbees openhab” and you will find the nightly builds. If that binding is part of OH it should show up there.
