Smartmeter binding causes OH crash

I’ve installed openhab 2.4 stable.

When i define a sml reader thing my complete openhab crashes and restarts itself. This happens as long as the thing exists (openhab start -> 30 seconds -> openhab restart).
When i delete the smartmeter sml thing everything is fine.

I went back and deleted the new smartmeter binding and installed a jar for openhab 2.3 from marketplace smartmeter
-> Everything runs smooth with this.

Any suggestions?
