[SOLVED] Configuration directories

I’m configuring an IP Camera with OpenHab.
The documentations specifies instructions like “Place the multiple JAR files after you unzip them into your openhab2-addons folder” and “Create a file called ipcamera.things and save it to your things folder.”
When I find all directories that have names with “things” and “addons”, I find more that one candidate for what the right directories would be.
Is there a place in the documentation or a command that tells me precisely which are the configuration directories?
