Your Chromecast is on your LAN and needs to talk to your local OH2 port.
You can configure your firewall to allow only that host from your LAN to access OH2 if you want to block all local access (you don’t trust your LAN ? :slight_smile:)

So you recommend shut down the firewall?

Not necessarily
You can open up selected IPs if you don’t trust the hosts that can connect to your LAN.
It’s an internal firewall anyway (running on your Windows PC)
It’s not the firewall on your Internet Gateway. This one protects you from external attacks.

Future readers should see that this was resolved by allowing the Chromecast to talk to the OH2 port.

Hello, i hope somebody can help me with this small issue:

I am using my Chromecast audiosinks for music playback (e.g. Spotify).
When i send a sound or tts to it while music is playing the playback is stopped and the “active app” changes to “Default Media Receiver”. Is it somehow possible to automatically resume the music?
