[SOLVED] Homekit deprecated tags and now autocreation of items? From where?!

Hi all,

I have restarted my efforts with openhab and I am puzzled what has changed again in the homekit-bridge?

When I add the homekit-integration it starts autocreating items, mostly from my Things in PaperUI for my hue lights but I have no idea why, in my items file I have tagged some items with switchable and these are listed but obviously I have 30 Brightness items from my hue lamps which I either want to exclude or understand why they are now auto populated in homekit?

I have searched the homekit changelog but have found just the info that tagging was deprecated.
Can somebody explain how this works now? It seems it now does auto-import and I do not know from which location or datapoint.

Thanks,
Henning

You’ve got Simple Mode set.
This invariably becomes really unhelpful, I would not recommend it even for new users.

Wow, I really did not think about this, thank you!
