[SOLVED] Missing Openhab LogViewer in Webfrontend

Hello community,

i have a Problem accessing the log via the Webfrontend. Any Ideas?

  • Platform information:
    • Hardware: Debian 10 Linux in a virtual environment (proxmox)
    • Java Runtime Environment: Zulu-8
    • openHAB version: 2.4 (latest stable)
  • Issue of the topic: I have installed the latest Version of Openhab via the APT Repo on Debian 10. I have installed Java zulu-8 also via APT and configured my openhab2 System. It works fine. But i remember the times, where i used a Raspi with Openhabian. There, i had a link in the Webfrontend, where i could Access the logfile easily. Now, where i installed everything on a Linux Debian 10, i don’t have such a link in the Webfrontend. Is there a way to integrate this? Maybe i have overseen something?

Thank you very much
danyo

Are you running OpenHABian?
You want Frontail. I do not think it is an OH addon though

See there:

Hi,

no, i am using Debian 10 in a virtual Environment. No openhabian, no raspi.
Ok, but Fronttail is a good note. Thought, it was an addon or something like that.

Thanks
danyo

I installed it from openhabian-config

ok, but the openhabian-config is also not available. Could be, that it is openhabian specific Programm.

Yes, it is basically a set of scripts to help manage OpenHAB. You could add it to your virtual environment

Thanks… Have done this… Works perfect… thx
