[SOLVED] MQTT Binding 2.4 vs. zigbee2mqtt

Hello together,

due to the Release of MQTT Binding 2.4 is it futhermore necessary to use the zigbee2mqtt binding?

I want to use the CC2531 Stick with the new firmware together with the Xiaomi Aqara Temperature sensors.

Yes of course

The zigbee2mqtt is not a binding. It’s a third party bridge between zigbee and mqtt.
So is goes like this:

openHAB => MQTT => zigbee2mqtt => zigbee => device
and
device => zigbee => zigbee2mqtt => MQTT => openHAB
