[SOLVED] Partial no updates from homematic binding

Today i set up my whole system completely new - but i got still the same problem. i have a fresh install of openmediavault (on debian) and OH2.4M4

It does not seem to be a general problem of HmIP devices. I only have a HmIP-PDT (dimmer). This device works fine with 2.4 M4. I have added Invormation about my test environment and results to the issue.

i think its no generel problem with the devices, too - it has to be something at my configuration, cause in the vm, for excample, the hmip devices are updating the states.

i checked the logs of the ccu3, as well - maybe this could be a hint to the error in my config?

I am not sure which connection causes the error. It could be a connection to a HmIP device or the connection to openHAB: I would guess its the latter. Is it possible that the firewall of openmediavault blocks part of the communication?

the ip thats mentioned (192.168.178.11) is the ip of my openhab (on openmediavault).
my first thought was the firewall, too, but i didnt configure there anything and on the vm (where the updates are working) i had the same settings.

edit: i did a port scan and could see, that port 9125 (also mentioned in the ccu3 log) could not be reached.
at the next step i tried to change the default ports to different ones in the .thing file, but this didnt change anything.
also i set up a firewall rule, that allows the connection to the port, but this didnt change anything, too.

is there another way to “open” the port manually?

For a test I would try to disable the firewall on openmediavault completely.

i it always disabled completely. i just added the rule to really make sure, that the port can be reached.

Problem solved. More informations at the linked issue.
