[SOLVED] [v1.8] Problems after Disaster Recovery

Hi all,

after a total loss of my OH 1.8.3 instance, I set up a new Rasbian light with a 32 GB SD-Card and installt OH 1.8.3 manually and recovered the backup of Config, item, rules, sitemap etc.

Some problems have bin fixed by my self. but there are still some errors in my logs I’ve no idea what to do…

bigest issue right now Chart Problem:

Actually I’ve no idea what’s wrong. Due to this Error my sitemap doesn’t show any charts!

Is there anybody with an idea what to do…???

Thx in advance!

Bernd

You need a peristence service to show charts, so put the service you’ve used before back into the addons folder.

Oh thanks, due to a typing error in my deployment-docs it came to an error during installation of rrd4j persistence binding.

right now, there are the charts on my sitemap again, but still some (to me) mystic errors in the log:

2017-08-29 19:39:00.033 [ERROR] [.p.rrd4j.internal.RRD4jService] - Could not create rrd4j database file ‘/var/lib/openhab/persistence/rrd4j/EG_WC.rrd’: Invalid file header. File [/var/lib/openhab/persistence/rrd4j/EG_WC.rrd] is not a RRD4J RRD file

Whats wrong with the files??

Either the permissions are wrong or the file is corrupted.
Delete it, restart OH and let it recreate …

OH stopped,

sudo rm /var/lib/openhab/persistence/rrd4j/*.rrd

OH started

it’s running! thanks!
