Sonos binding discovering item multiple times, exception in log

I have a problem with the SONOS binding. The binding discovered all my players and I added them as things (they work). But some players get discovered again.

I also see the following exception in the log:

2021-04-14 15:48:46.241 [ERROR] [y.upnp.internal.UpnpDiscoveryService] - Participant 'org.openhab.binding.sonos.internal.discovery.ZonePlayerDiscoveryParticipant' threw an exception

All players are present as things and are working. Shall I report a bug for this.
I’m using OH 3.0.1 on a linux host (ubuntu 20.04).

with kind regards,
Patrik

I think it should be fixed in 3.1 M3.

Great  - thanks

Hello,

I have a similar issue on OpenHAB 2.5.12 with the Sonos Binding. I don’t get any device discovered and the log says:

Is there a chance this gets fixed as well, or is there at least a workaround you could suggest, please?

Thanks a lot.

No there is no plan to publish a patch in 2.5 for that. Maintenance of 2.5.x has stopped more than one year ago. Maintenance is limited for this version to critical security issues that could occur in the openHAB core.
This is fixed in 3.1 and next versions.
