Updated my openhabian setup to openHAB 5.1. My sonos devices keep toggling ONLINE / ERROR:COMM. Rolled back to 5.0.3 and my speakers are stable ONLINE.
Did a fresh install of openhab 5.1 on a barebone Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS server, installed the sonos add-on, same problem. My sonos devices keep toggling ONLINE / ERROR:COMM.

I did some further testing as my speakers were added via a things-file with a refresh set to 1 second. As it was for years…. without problems.
I changed the refresh rate to 60 seconds (the default when adding the speaker from the inbox.). Seems to work fine (for) now.

Setting this parameter to 1s makes no sense as it floods your Sonos devices with requests … for no reason.
Trying to understand how you could have made such strange decision, I checked the description of this parameter and I was surprised to discover that it doesn’t describe what this parameter is for.
Yes, now I know. I thought the refresh parameter was the interval the values of the channels were read from the devices…
