Hi has anyone found a way to automate playing podcasts in Sonos.
I have added the Pocket Casts service to my Sonos controller and I have subscribed to the BBC Global News podcasts. I can add this podcast list to Sonos_favourites but I can’t get it to play using the Sonos binding. It seems that Podcasts are not treated the same in Sonos as music playlists.
For example I have a favorites called “Chilled Hits” which is a Spotify playlist and my rule:
Sonos_Favorite.sendCommand("Chill Hits")
works fine but
Sonos_Favorite.sendCommand("Global News Podcast")
which calls a News Podcast playlist does nothing.
Any ideas?
