Switch to control rules

Hi,

I am using OpenHab 2.3 on raspberry Pi. How Can I create switch that would be controllable and visible in Paper UI Control section without associated thing. Purpose is to have a switch to condition execution of rules.

you can’t do this
In the control section of PaperUI only Items which are linked to Thing channels appear.

You can setup an Item and use it in your sitemap
