System migration to USB disk

For the time being, you would need to edit /opt/openhabian/functions/zram.bash and replace the repo name, it’s https://github.com/mstormi/openhabian-zram now.

fatal: Remote branch openhabian_v1.5 not found in upstream origin
/opt/openhabian/functions/zram.bash: line 15: cd: /tmp/openhabian.RXaGLmdITG: No such file or directory
/bin.sh: 0: Can’t open /install.sh

Ah sorry I didn’t cross-check first.

I assume you pay your testers well.

Looking for a job ? Nah that’s nothing that would make you rich.

Install completed OK, thanks.

I know it’s a quite old thread, but just in case someone stumbles upon the same question:

I found migration to be very easy using RaspiBackup.

Just create a backup from your SD-card (you can even do so when it is running) e.g. on a NAS or USB-Stick with RaspiBackup. Then plug in destination drive, and use RaspiBackup to restore the backup there (RaspiBackup asks if partition layout should be kept, answer with Yes). Then unplug the SD-card and voila, you can boot your system from the USB-disk.
