Tab "Items" appeared and was crowded and is empty again

I fiddle arround with OH1 and OH2 for quite time now. I never saw the TAB “Items” under configuration (Paper UI).
Today a put a backup back on a Stick and bootet. This Tab appears and was crowded with all my items I defined in the items-script. I never saw that before. But now it’s empty again…
Did I changed something??? Yes I uninstalled Astro (2.0) and reinstalled.
Can anybody explain that?

That Tab only appears when Simple Mode is turned off in Configuration -> System -> Item Linking.
