TACMI / Technische Alternative / TA C.M.I. Binding Upgrade to 1.xx -> 2.xx

Hi Klaus,

i’ve tried to fix the issue and uploaded new prebuild binaries to GitHub - marvkis/openhab-addons-dist: A repository to provide precompiled openhab bindings / addons related to the openhab pull requests - could you pick the proper version and place it into your ‘addons’ folder? (On OH3 the ‘upstream’ binding has to be uninstalled from the GUI so OH uses the version from the addons folder, in OH2 the addons folder overrides the upstream version). But I was not able to test the Binding for the 2.5.x version as I currently only have an OH 3.x version running. When there are problems just remove it from the addons folder and give me as many detais you can get out if it

Hi,

I forgot to switch java to version 1.8 before building the plugin for 2.5.13. Just rebuilt it with java 1.8 and uploaded it again. Could you give it another try?

the stacktrace looks quite wired. It seems OH has problems to initialize the binding. I think i have to install an OH 2.5 to reproduce this issue. And for this I need time…
Do you see a chance to update to OH 3?

Hi Klaus,

i’ve just spawned a OH 2.5.12 docker container and installed the addon - and it seems to work. At least for the fresh installed version.

And it has to be the new version as the update policy is not in upstream yet:

so currently… no idea what is wrong…

Hi together,
I hope this is the right thread to post my problem.
Recently I’ve started integrating my UVR610 over the CMI to OpenHAB. I’m using the CMI Coe mode and was successful transfering values from the UVR610 to OpenHAB but I’m struggling with getting values from OpenHAB to the UVR610.
The problem is not getting values to be sent but getting them to the configured analog output number. I have 6 output channels configured, but only 4 of them are sent to the CMI and at least one of the values is overwritten by one other channel (see attached screenshot of the cmi coe status page).

My configuration looks like this:
OpenHAB 3.1.0 + TACmi Binding 3.1.0
TA C.M.I. V1.38.3
TA C.M.I. CoE Connection (CAN Node 54) with the channels configured Output: 1-6. I also tried 1, 5, 9, 13, 17 and 21 since a can pod has 4 values.

My conclusion is, that I can only send 4 analog values per node, is this correct?
And my other question is, how can i predict the analog output number to configure it correctly in TAPPS2?

Hi, i reached the same issue.

also if you use higher channels (5 or bigger) it maps to 1-4 (A1/6/11/16) and overwrites the previous values.

So yes, apparently, only 4 values can be sent to the CMI that way.

Any proceedings so far?

I am working on confirming that my can based binding works with all recent updates to libraries etc… it was working fine before with multiple controllers and multiple outputs two years back.
It has no limits which come from CoE, simply because it goes over the wire straight to the controller.
