Tapo Cloud Link not working after password change / and network change

Hi,

the Tapo (TP-Link) Cloud link stopped working after I have changed the password for my TP-Link account.
I even removed all Tapo things and added them again, but it cant connect anymore.

What could the issue be?

Im not sure if thats also an issue, I have setup a new WiFi SSID for IoT devices and moved the first Tapo smart-plugs there. Could that pose an issue? The devices are reachable from the openhab-server (but they cannot talk on their own to the openhab server there is kind of a NAT between both networks so that the IoT stuff cannot harm my main network, so the openhab server has to actively talk to the device, but the devices can talk to the internet)

the only thing that appears in the OH log is, that the thing state goes to unintialized and then to initilizing and then to UNKNOWN.

there is no further error-message that would elaborate the issue.

EDIT:
Very peculiar, I was looking into adding the bridge again, because the last time I have added the bridge and after it was online it populated the Things automatically.
Now there was a scan button in the “adding things” page when selecting tapocontrol and this scan actually added the SmartPlugs.
Im not sure if that was an official way how to add the tapo items (create cloud-link, even though link is not online, scan for new things and then add them) but at least it worked.

So if someone else is having similar problems, this hopefully helps.

maybe this is related to the network change as UDP discovery does not work and I needed to add the Ip address manually which is not easy as the devices do not show up with their name in the router, so it was wild guessing
