Testing a binding update on a productive system

But there are some changes that cause bindings compiled for 2.5 not work for 3.0 and the other way around. So you need to make some changes to make your binding compile and run on openHAB 3.

Where:

Means the package namespace of openhab-core has been changed from org.eclipse.smarthome to org.openhab. which makes bindings incompatible at runtime.
