The connection has timed out error on first run

Hi,

I am just totally new to openHAB. I have installed it on my google cloud virtual machine which is a linux based system.

My ip is 104.154.183.165:8080

Why this is happenging? please help me out

openHAB is not intended to run on a cloud service but at your home server.

Thanks for replying hartmann. So i can install it on my local device and then connect it and access it online through openHAB Cloud. Am i right?
