[image] rlkoshak: The fact that the Things are not loaded at all is a problem. We haven’t been able to reproduce it but there will be some additional debug logging in OH 4.0.4 which can be enabled and may explain why it happens, see: Textually defined things…

I have the exact same problem :frowning: things from file only load when the file is touched or modified after OH restart. Lost again after reboot.
