Time off by 5 minutes

Have my time zone set to London and ntp set up correctly.

Any ideas why my time is off by 5 minutes?

You date and time items have a finite refresh period and will lag by that amount at the most.

So it looks like the NTP binding can’t override system time. My host OS turned out to be off as well, once I updated that OpenHab got the correct time…

Edit: Ohh sorry I think I might have misunderstood. So the NTP binding updates every 15 minutes and doesn’t interpolate between. So it updates at say 1pm, it’ll stay like that until 1.15pm etc…? Is that right? I would have just thought it was realtime and the refresh interval was to check it was still correct.

Yes you are right. It does not interpolate as has been my observation.
