Full transparency, there is another thread started on this here. I hope this isn’t against the rules to post again, but it has gone essentially unanswered since October. I’m hoping the TP-Link binding is still supported by someone.
Firstly I’m on current OH 4.3.1 release build on openhabian/rpi4.
Essentially the new Kasa TP-Link single pole light switches HS200 hardware version 5.2* and firmware 1.0.3 don’t work with the existing binding. Previous versions work just fine, but I can confirm the updated HS200 won’t connect to the binding. Discovery won’t detect the new HS200 and manual configuration of the thing with IP shows ‘connection refused’ in the log. Although reports are it works fine with homeassistant…
Unfortunately I don’t have the expertise to troubleshoot and modify the binding, but I’m willing to work to test it with whomever would pick this up.
Cheers
