# TP-Link smart plug 'things' issue

- Platform information:Openhabian
  - openHAB version: 2.4

Fairly new to this, and am trying to confiure my things and site map files based on the initial demo ones that are created.

for the life of me i can’t figure out what i am doing wrong with these switches, the site map only shows the last ‘thing’ in the the file, as i add a switch the previous one disappears from the site map.

Am i calling the operation wrong?

`home` and `TP_L_switch` are example keys and must be unique for each item and thing. In the documentation this is explained in more detail:
