Hello
As of today (at least I realised it today) Tradfri is going from ONLINE to UNKNOWN, then from UNKNOWN to OFFLINE and then from OFFLINE (COMMUNICATION ERROR) back to ONLINE every 3 minutes.
I‘m running OH 2.5.7-1.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem?
Any Ideas how to solve this?

Made a new openhab hassle-free setup on raspbi and moved my things, items and rules files etc. back to new installation.
Unfortunately same behavior. Cycling as mentioned above every three minutes…

Have you tried touching the thing and item files? Also set the log to DEBUG or TRACE, via the console, and see if you get any additional info.

I managed to set logging level to debug.
There I found the following:

It seems there is an error somewhere but I have no clue what this means…

Seem a few have good results by restarting the binding (not OH, just the binding) via the console.

I’m through with all this tricks since I had these problems last year. It worked one year, now the issues are back - but not in the same flavor.
Now its a Cycling between those status every three minutes, the devices are hardly controllable although openhab things status shows most of the time “online”.
Therefore I came to the point, that I’m gonna replace tradfri hub with hue hub which seems to have less problems.

While I have not seen the specific error you observe in my system, still a question: is your tradfri hub updated.
My tradfri hub starts to misbehave (becomes unreactive, goes offline and does not come back online, etc) if there is an update pending (hub and/or bulbs). Once I execute/confirm all pending updates via the app, the problems go away. (of course, if that is not the case, power-cycling the tradfri hub works wonders at times too).
I also have a hue hub, and, yes, the hue system just runs rock solid…

No update is pending, version 1.10.43. I have repowered it, I forced a new initialization via disconnecting and reconnecting ethernet etc. for this problem nothing works.
I even made a fresh setup of openhab to avoid problems through experimenting in the previous month…
Nothing seems to help.
