Unable to add a new z-wave device to the z-wave database

I have a device that appears to not be in the database
I don’t seem to be able to upload an XML file or create a login to opensmarthouse.org
I downloaded this file from https://products.z-wavealliance.org/products/2819

I got this from my OH z-wave userdata

I uploaded your XML and it worked fine -:

If you can’t create a login, then for sure you won’t even be able to upload the XML file.

Please ensure that there is no issue with spam etc otherwise you won’t get the account activation emails.

I can see that there is an account created but you have not activated it so probably the emails have gone into spam. I will active the account for you.

I too have a new Z-wave device device but do not have rights to upload to opersmarthouse.org, nor can I attach a file to this site to include the details.

Welcome to OH

Write access to the DB can be obtained by following the instructions in the blog. In general 1) register 2) open ticket for write access 3) get xml generated by OH for the device 4) Electronic copy of the manual.

There may be a similar device you can compare. It looks the same anyway

The blog states “To use the database you must first register on the site, then email, or open a ticket to have your access updated”

I have registered, and have opened a ticket to have my access updated, that has gone unanswered, what is the email that I can email?

The Zwave developer/maintainer is on holiday with limited internet access. I’m not sure of his schedule.

After modifying the file make sure to “request review” on the Overview tab, if you are finished.
