Unable to Unlock Administration option on iPad 4th gen

Hi All,

I’m planning on building a simple kiosk for my Openhab 3 (snapshot #2037) setup using an older iPad 4th gen. When I navigate to the http://openhab:8080 page in Safari then click on “Unlock Administration” in left sidebar, I just get a tool tip on the shield icon, but no login.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Same behaviour in Chrome.

I’m able to login correctly via my iPhone 11, MacBook Air and Mac mini.

Same here…ipad 4th gen.
I suppose it’s because of the safari / WebKit version which hasn’t been updated for a while :slight_smile:

Thanks @candiesdoodle.
I think it may be the OAuth2 framework. Perhaps it’s not supported on the iPad 4.
Wonder if there is some kind of workaround for this.

OAuth2 is just https from a client perspective. The magic is all server side, I believe.

I wonder then if it’s a matter of finding a browser on the iPad 4 that will work.
