Understanding question rows/column

Hi,
do I see it rightly that I can’t add in a column multiple rows? how do you solve this thing when I want to achive e.g. this layout:

So where all the border lines are visible, it is one widget.
Currently I assume, when I want in the right column these 4 rows where in each row is a widget, I have to create one widget which includes this layout?! Because I’m not able to add in a two column layout in the left column e.g. 2 rows and in the right 4 rows.

you could create one row with two cols. in the first col“s default slot add two widgets and in the second col 4 widgets.
