If you’re a developer you may also use the workaround that I use. Also not perfect but better than enabling/disabling all the time:

In case you are willing to compile the addon for yourself this is my current workaround. I changed the executeRequest method in the UniFiController.java. See the added logout() line. I’m aware that this is by no means an actual “fix”, it just logs you out after every request. But since I couldn’t find the actual problem this is still better than not being able to control my devices through OH (or even more so my wife, I cannot tell her to disable and reenable the “controller thing” ) …

Just switched from FritzBox to Unifi and would like to use the binding.
Seems like it´s abandoned and there´s currently only work on a Unifi protect binding.

Edit: I should´ve tried it instead of reading in the forum.
It works.
I´m using a Cloud Gateway Max running 4.4.9 and just created a local account through the phone app.
It doesn´t need 2FA and the binding gets online after a few 404 errors.
